Prolapse!!

I think I have a prolapse. I felt a small spot next to my vulva yesterday and checked it in the mirror. That's all sorted, but whilst I was there I noticed the rest of everything not being right.

If I'm honest things haven't felt right for a while, and it does feel like there's extra pressure down there and the strange sensation that something is pulling on the inside of my belly button.

Does anyone have any positive stories on getting a prolapse sorted? On closer inspection, when I bear down there's rectal prolapse too. Basically my pelvic floor has given up and just let everything drop hasn't it?

I was convinced i had a prolapse after my first baby...after seeing a specialist though I was told I did have some laxity in the vaginal walls which is what I could see, but not a prolapse. I couldn't believe that what I was seeing and feeling wasn't a prolapse. So first things, don't panic until you have seen a professional.

Secondly, the symptoms I had felt pretty severe to me...a constant heaviness and like something was falling out of me whenever I stood up. However it was pretty much resolved through physio, or at least enough for it not to consume my thoughts constantly.

I have not long had my third baby and this time there is no doubt I have a prolapse. I have just started the ball rolling with the gp. From last time, I feel hopeful that there are lots of options of things to try. I felt they were really caring, took me seriously, and saw me quickly even when it wasn't a prolapse so if that is anything to go by, hopefully there will be a few possible courses of action for you. Good luck.

Hi ladies

Just wanted to know how you're both getting on. The past few nights i have had a dull stomach pain and shooting pains in my vagina. I decided to have a look and nothing is hanging out sorry Tmi but when I look properly it looks like something is ha going low. I'm freaking out! I've been bad bad and never done pelvic excercises. I have two kids. One vaginal birth 3 years ago and one c section last year x
