Has anyone been diagnosed with ovarian cancer but had a normal CA125 level? If so, what were your symptoms before diagnosis?

Thanks

No personal experience but ca125 is a very unreliable test in pre menopausal women. I am sure your GP must have done other test like abdominal and tvg ultrasound if problem was suspected.
As per my understanding , most ovarian cancer are caused by cyst which are complex so symptoms should be similar - irregular periods, spotting between periods and bloating.

Which way are you coming from with this?

Who has suggested you have ovarian cancer?

the C125 test is unreliable- it only picks up advanced cancer and not all cases even then.

Read the info on the charity OVACOME for symptoms.

You can though get a high C125 reading for other gynae issues not cancer.
