Hair loss vitamin levels

Hi
I have been experiencing thinning hair for about two years now. Bald patches developing at temples, feels thin at crown and back. Was shedding for awhile but that seems to have stopped. I have some other symptoms (acne, constipation, fatigue, all over aches). GP has started investigating. All bloods came back 'normal' but I am aware that they may be normal as far as a gp is concerned but too low for hair growth. Can anyone help me interpret them please? I have vit d of 86 nmol/l. Thyroid is serum free T4 level 15.6 pmol/l, serum TSH level 0.96 mU/L, vitamin b12 436 Ng/L, serum folate >20, serum iron 19 umol/l, serum transferrin 2.244 g/l, serum tibc 56 umol/l, transferrin saturation index 34%. I can't see ferritin anywhere. Does anything stand out as low in terms of hair loss? Thanks so much.

I'd recommend reporting your post and ask to get it moved to women's health. Btw how old are you? Hair loss is not uncommon for women in peri/menopause.

Ok, thanks. Yeah, I'm definitely of an age where it is probably that. Grasping at straws a bit.

Did they test your ferritin? Low levels of this linked to hair loss.

No, I can't find any result for ferritin.

OP - I’m perimenopausal - I’ve lost a lot of hair . Could it be as simple as that ?

A number of symptoms, such as hair loss, can occur when your body lacks the recommended amount of vitamin D

Right. I just don't know if the levels quoted above are ok in terms of hair loss and thinning.
