PMT and migraines finally got help

I've always had a bit of PMT, feel emotional and irrational etc, but the last 6 months it's definitely got worse and I get so angry which isn't great when I have children. Last month I was so disgusted at my behaviour, shouting at the children / husband I made an appointment with my GP.

I didn't expect her to do much at all but she was great and listened to my symptoms and prescribed me anti depressants (sertraline). I was worried as I hate taking tablets for anything but tried them and I have just finished my period with no mood swings and feeling so calm compared to other months.

I really wish I had gone to my GP sooner instead of suffering in silence.

This is good news. Did it help the migraines too?
