Hi everyone.
I've really been struggling with period pain recently, mostly just tummy cramps but its getting quite painful.
For a few years I've been struggling each time of the month to carry on my day as normal, like going out with my friends and to university but I don't really feel like going out of the house, does anybody else ever feel like this?
I've been told to try different things, as I don't like relying on medication as they can make me dizzy and drowsy. I was wondering what kind of products or things people try to get rid of their period pain? I'd really like some advice 🙂 thank youu🌸

Has anyone ever mentioned endometriosis to you; that is indeed a common cause of cyclical severe period pains. I thought this
as a possible cause when I was reading your post.

Any pain that is cyclical in nature and or gets worse up to and including menses should be mentioned to the GP. If this person is unhelpful then do insist there and then on a referral to a gynae. It would also be a good idea to keep a daily pain and symptom diary particularly if you do not already do this.

Have a look at the current endometriosis thread on here. Also do read the Endometriosis UK's website www.endometriosis-uk.org/.
