Incontinence after hysterectomy

I never imagined I'd be starting a thread with this title. I had a total hysterectomy three months ago (laparoscopic) and since then I feel like I'm seeping urine. I'm not aware of it happening but my panty liners are damp and smell of pee by the end of the day.

My continence was fine before the surgery, and despite being pretty religious about pelvic floor exercises since then, I've noticed this issue. I didn't notice till a month ago since for the first two months I was having normal post-op discharge.

I am seeing a gynae in a few days' time so will obviously ask about this, but wanted to see if any of you had experienced this. Was it temporary? Did you do anything other than the classic pelvic floor exercises?

I've heard oestrogen pessaries can help. I was also wondering about one of those kegel gadgets.

I'm 46, slim and reasonably fit, good diet and lifestyle. But feeling really anxious and depressed about this.
