I started taking Novofem 2 months ago. I’m now having a really really heavy period with lots of clots. Is this usual? No other health issues at all.

Are you saying you have a period while you are taking novofem? Or is it that you stopped and then had breakthrough bleeding. I have never taken it but I was under the impression that novofem should be taken continuously so you should not get a period.

I am sorry I got confused with another medicine, I checked again and realised that you do get period with novofem. I will leave it to others who have personal experience to answer the query.
But when I took ovral my first two periods were heavy with clots.
