IVF and prolapse

After having my daughter via IVF 14 months ago and a traumatic birth (forceps, 3rd degree tear) I’ve been left with scarring and a prolapse. The NHS consultant has told me to complete my family first before I even consider surgery... if only it was that easy.
We have a couple of embryos frozen that I would like to use but after the traumatic birth I’m nervous about all the internal scans and also feel ashamed of how things look down there now. Then theres the thought of the embryo transfer, waiting with a full bladder and speculum in, which has always been awful anyway.
Just wondering if anyone else with a prolapse has had to have IVF and how you found things?
I’m due a smear too (was due it when I was pregnant so its 2 years overdue) and the thought of that alone has made me a nervous wreck, again just the thought of having something put up there and the embarrassment of how I look down there.
