Mirena coil fitted 4 days ago and feel awfu

I am 43 and had a mired fitted on Monday for menopausal symptoms.

Yesterday and today I feel awful. No energy, no focus , tired , sore boobs , a bit anxious a d horrible sort of heavy headache. also nauseous.

I can only think it’s the coil , did any of you experience this ?

I could go back to bed I feel so tired .

I think I want it removed. Will they remove it if I ask so soon after ?

Hi, it can take a while for your hormones to even out. I had spotting for months with my first coil and then I just stopped and I was fine. I had my current one fitted a couple of weeks ago and I feel like I'm constantly due on with PMT. I'm just hoping it eventually goes away once my body settles down.

I am not sure I can cope with it . I feel a bit out of it really . Like a brain fog too . It’s doesn’t even feel like pmt for me.
