Pain & bloating end of period till ovulation

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this too. Since having my second child, I get cramps and soreness and bloating around ovulation, more so than around the time of my period. This seems to be the case whether I'm on the pill or not. I find it very odd. Anyone have any idea why this could be?

I've had this for the last few months and it turned out to be ovarian cysts which have just been surgically removed.

Ask your gp. Emphasise this is not normal for you.

Can I ask how big your cyst was and what sort x

@haymumof2 there were several endometriotic cysts on the left ovary, the largest of which was just over 5cm. There was a dermoid cyst on the right ovary which I was told at ultrasound was 8.2cm - however the nurse who sat with me in recovery said it was bigger than they expected when they went in so they had to make a larger incision than normal to remove it. It was actually closer to 10cm in the end!

So basically - one was the size of a satsuma, the other was as big as an orange.

Ps I also lost my left ovary due to the damage the endometriosis had done.
