Best combined pill for pcos?

What combined pill do you take to manage your pcos? I have just started dianette.

I used to take Microgynon. It was prescribed by my gynaecologist at the Portman Hospital in London and he seemed to know his stuff.

Eventually (years later) I came off it because my (NHS) GP refused to prescribe it (due to cost issues) and wanted to fob me off with some much older (and hence cheaper) pills.
