I have had a mammogram in the past due to what turned out to be a benign cyst which needed drained.
Went for my first routine age related mammogram two weeks ago and have been called back in on Monday for further tests, mammograms, ultrasounds etc.
Stats are in my favour - five in 100 get recalled, and of them four out of five will be non cancerous.
However, I can feel a smallish lump where my cyst was before and I have slight dimpling on my lower areola which I pointed out at the routine test. She said that alone might cause a recall but my letter says the mammogram was unclear.
I could do with some honest replies, especially if they are of the “all clear” variety, but any feedback is good.
Thanks
