Hey, a few factors to look at but I have just found out at 35 weeks pregnant my ferritin level is 6 but my hgb is 11.8. Just wondering why I would have low ferritin but not low hgb? I also have factor v Leiden (found after recurrent miscarriages) and take tinzaparin injections each day with aspirin, could this be effecting the levels? They also said I have large cells, again what does this mean? I am taking ferrous fumerate tablets but concerned they won’t work in them before I give birth. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks
