Mid cycle bleeding. Worried!

Hi all, finished my period about a week ago and I have started bleeding today. It's getting heavier, almost like a proper period and I'm really stressed out!

I'm 35 and usually as regular as clockwork.

Has anyone experienced this and have some words of reassurance?

Nope, nothing has changed.

I've contacted the doctor but hard to get an appointment at the moment!

Bumping this to see if you managed to get an appointment and what the doctor said as I started bleeding yesterday, out of hours gave me antibiotics without seeing me as they think it could be an infection but to me it feels like a period!
