Genital Warts in Pregnancy ( HPV )

Hi, I've been told I have genital warts and I'm pregnant. I'm worried they won't disappear before I give birth. Will I have to have a c section? If the warts aren't too big if I do have a vaginal tear then will they be able to stitch me back up if I have warts in the way? Will they talk about it when I give birth so my birthing partner (not my sexual partner) will know?

My friend had genital warts during pregnancy and unfortunately she had to have a c section. She had them frozen off but they came back. They haven't come back after and it's been 5 years now. Do you mean HSV? I have the cold sore type and i had it all over my mouth when I was pregnant. I think it is to do with your immune system being a bit weak. They may go though, your best bet is to talk to your midwife about this. All the best x

Ignore that, you're right it is HPV. HSV is genital herpes, not warts x
