I had DD in January this year and had my appointment to have the Mirena fitted this morning.
Everything was fine until the doctor had to measure my uterus, she said normally they measure 5-10cms but mine was off the chart! She said she could fit it but there would be a higher risk of perforation so she's referred me for an internal ultrasound so see what's going on.
I'm still BF DD so that could be a factor I think.
Has anyone else ever experienced this? I'm trying not to google it and I'm sure it's fine but any reassurance would be great at this point!
