Pelvic ultrasound

Hi I recently had an ultrasound of my pelvis and they found fluid on my cervix and csection scar. I wondered if anyone else has had anything similar and knew the significance of this? Thanks 🙂

All I know is that fluid could be caused by a burst cyst or some kind of inflammation caused by infection. It sometimes dries on its own, other times needs antibiotics. Really depends on your symptoms and why the scan was done in the first place.

Thanks for replying 🙂 That's good to know, I was sent for the scan due to pelvic pain and irregular bleeding. Hopefully just an inflammation that will go on it's own then, waiting for gynae follow up 🤞
