Tranexamic acid. Will bleeding just come back once I stop taking it?

Taking tranexamic acid for bleeding after coil insertion. It seems to be working! Excellent. However... I'm not a medic and not sure of the science behind how this drug works. Can anyone shed any light on whether bleeding is likely to start again after I stop taking it? These bleeding free days have been so wonderful and I will be gutted if I go back to bleeding every day...

I take it to reduce bleeding during my menstrual cycle and bleeding doesn’t increase when I stop taking it. Not sure if it would be the same for a coil insertion though so that may not help you...

Not sure about how it works with a coil, but I take it for excessive menstrual bleeding each month - once I ran out and had a 3 week period when I didn't take it. Period just went on and on Confused
I take it religiously now
