Prolapse - what to expect?

I’ve had some great reassurance from posters on here and over the phone with my busy GP, but I’ve got a face to face (or fanjo) appointment and I’m wondering what to expect? Quick internal and once over, or are we looking at speculum stuff? Just want to get prepared as I’m pretty sure I know what it is, but am nervous about what the gp will suggest as further action.

No incontinence currently, but really worried about constipation and my job doesn’t help (teaching) when I can’t get a drink during the day etc.

Any further advice very appreciated and any positive stories or points to be aware of would be much appreciated.

So for a first appointment, they'll probably take your history and do an internal (digital) exam. Hopefully they will recommend you see a woman's health physio as a follow up. It's never dignified! But it's fine. Good luck!

Thank you for your response - have been off line for a bit of a mental detox.dignity went a couple of decades ago but am relieved it’s not too bad. Cheers @sar302
