I'm scared please help

Yesterday I started bleeding from my urinary tract. It wasn't my bleeding I get when I ovulate. I started bleeding mid cycle earlier during lockdown. I didn't get a smear obviously because of COVID didn't want to go to a surgery. I was too scared. Now here's where any advice or experience would be great. I had no symptoms of a UTI. Jist woke up o yesterday and started getting blood in wee. It was dripping in the toilet. Got some antibiotics and in the meantime waiting for urine results
The reason why the thought of cervical cancer scares me is because if I had a urine infection would I not have this urge to pee and burning sensation? Some one please tell me its normal to bleed without a warning sign for a uti. I mean not normal. But you dont have to have burning when peeing. I mean I have a painful dull ache in my lower abdomen pelvic region.

I'm so scared. Please be nice. I'm just asking for reassurance and experiences

P.s I'm dripping a bit of wee after I pee. And the bleeding does not drip but it's there when I wipe.

I've had a urine infection before with no urge to pee and felt fine, just the blood in urine. The same day after starting antibiotics (come the evening I had the razor blade like feeling when I went for a wee) but no urgency.
If you do get the pain, drinking soda water really helps eliminate the pain!

Kidney stones? We see a lot of patients from doctors who want to know if they have kidney stones, because they have blood in their urine. They don't necessarily cause pain until they move. I'm glad you've seen the doctor now. Hopefully it's something that you can deal with easily.

It sounds like a UTI. If you've seen the doctor & got antibiotics I'm sure they'll investigate if the urine tests come back with nothing.

Did you call your GP and get tested for a UTI? I'm assuming you did if you got antibiotics? They can check right away using the dip sticks usually. Chances are it's just a UTI and you'll know soon if the antibiotics start to work. If not get in touch with your GP and take it from there. Hope you feel better soon

Thank you. This reassures me. I'm getting like a dull aching in pelvis. I'm on antibiotics. Just wanted to know that you CAN get a UTI without urge to pee.

Hello. Yes. I've got the antibiotics. I didn't ring them today. Will be ringing them first thing tommorrow morning. I'm hoping it's a uti.

I'm hoping its something as simple. Googling symptoms is not good. It can take you to some dark places. Thank you for everyone's response. Youre all so lovely to reply.

So just an update. There is no infection and last night I passed a massive clot from my urinary tract. Doctor said she will forward me for scans. Quite scared however she did say it could be kidney stones

At least you have a possible diagnosis. Are you still at home?

My neice in law pees blood because she has kidney stones. So it could be this. Your doctor's seems on the ball and hopefully you will get a clear diagnosis and treatment soon. I hope you can sleep and not worry. Sending you

Hello ladies. I finally had my 'urgent' scan 2 weeks and 3 days later. I got fed up and rang the doctor he said you've been booked and should have got a letter. Anyway turned out it was a mix up. Now I have fibroids... but I also got my period. Please dont think I'm crazy but my period is coming out of my urinary tract blood clots and all.

Are you sure you're bleeding from the urinary tract and not te vagina? Your posts seem to confuse the 2. Cervical issues wouldn't cause urinary bleeding.

No I have fibroid that was checked in the scan. However I am bleeding from my urinary tract. Initially I was bleeding from urinary tract 2 weeks ago and clot came through. I used a tampon to make sure and it was clean. The blood was jist gusing out my urinary tract. I got my period 2 days ago and I'm bleeding from my urinary tract. Like you know when wee comes out. You know it well the clots and blood are coming out of my wee hole. It sounds mad. Everyone came at me with the same question. I have been referred for an internal bladder scan and ct scan.

Yes I've got one booked. The pain when I wee is excruciating

Apparently you can end up with endometriosis of the bladder that starts off in the womb. They are just cells that can implant into the bladder. It's called retrograde menstruation. I thought I had that. I still feel sonething like that is going on. I'm just extremly scared.
