Bladder weakness (with age)

I am getting increasing bladder weakness, not leakage, but needing to go far more frequently. It is affecting my life in terms of interrupting sleep and not being able to do things during the day (two hours plus) without needing to go. So for example I wouldnt go on an afternoon hike with strangers (ok with friends as go in the wild).

Has anybody successfully treated such an issue with physio or other type of intervention? I look at my mum who cant go an hour without going, is always worried about not being near a toilet - and I can see a gloomy bladder future!
