Sick of feeling so rubbish

Since turning 30 my cycles have got heavier. I've been treated for anemia.

No matter how hard I try I never get many days in a row where I feel good. I've often got mild nausea. Often got aches around my ovaries. My ovulation always makes me feel abit rubbish for a couple of days. I also spot midcycle.

Headaches have started since lockdown. Fitness is now down.

Gps can't help me because it's more than one thing. So they just tell me I'm anxious. But I know it's all linked. I get particularly anxious on the 3rd week of my cycle. Yet the rest of the month I'm fine. No success with hormones. Tried a few different types.

I am trying to find my confidence to get back out more. But it's hard when I always feel pants. I don't like making plans.

On average I feel rubbish in some way for 10-12 of the month.

Am I alone with this?

Has the GP not referred you to a gynae?. It seems like they have been unhelpful to say the least, they cannot now help and have further washed their hands of you by calling you anxious!. Its appalling frankly and I would complain to their practice manager. I would also look into moving GP practice.

I would keep a pain and symptom diary and go all out to obtain a referral from a GP to a gynaecologist. You should not have to put up with feeling like this.

Push to get a referral. Do you feel sick during ovulation?
