Vaginal dryness, pre menopausal

Hi all. Wondering if anyone had experience of vaginal dryness before menopause. I'm currently late 30s. Have experienced a range of symptoms since mid 20s with numerous consultants appointments, and no diagnosis. I only realised last year that all signs point to vaginal dryness this whole time, so I am very annoyed that none of the drs ever considered this.
I've been using replens, which I don't love. Any suggestions for things that might help? I'm looking into an oestrogen based cream, but dr was unsure about using this as I am pre menopausal.
For info, main symptoms are itching, changes to discharge, general dryness, and lack of libido. Used to suffer from cystitis regularly but worked out myself how to avoid that.
Thanks!

I’m using vagifems on prescription but I’m menopausal proper. It’s a form of HRT but just locally as I don’t have any other troubling symptoms. It does help. They’re a bit like a plastic tampax that you insert and fire.!

Ps it was driving me insane before and affecting my sleep. Still annoying but less so.

Are you in the COCP? Oral contraceptive? That can dampen down your ovaries and so you can get some vagjnal dryness with this. If that’s the case - can use local oestrogen creams like vagifem

No oral contraception, I have a mirena coil, but was also affected for a few years when I didn't have one.
