Soreness and burning when wiping??

Hi all,

I have trawled the previous threads for help but am still stuck at what is going on with me!

3 weeks ago I noticed the skin around the entrance of my vagina was sore when I wiped, slight burning possibly? Maybe had a bit of white discharge but NO itching at all. Just soreness for few seconds after wiping.

Took flucanozole tablet and used canestan hc sweat rash cream on outer.

Didn't stop the soreness and it burned when I applied the cream. Applied cream for 2 weeks and only slightly better maybe?

So, I bought a pessary and clotrimizole 2% cream. Really sore when I inserted the pessary all the entrance of my vagina was sore. Was a lot better after doing this. Been using the cream now for 8 days since using pessary.

There is now normal discharge and when I look down there properly it is totally normal. No redness, nothing.

However, when I wipe with tissue its sore afterwards for few seconds and when I use flushable sensitive wipes it burns for few seconds. It does not burn when i wee.

What the hell is it lol?!

I have used lactacyd wash for years after having recurrent thrush years ago so can't imagine its that? I am using non bio wash (wasn't before) and airing as much as I can!

Is there a cream i could use to calm the soreness?? Proper canestan hc? I have called sexual health clinic and they will call me back at some point.

Bit worried after reading online but it looks so healthy down there can't understand it lol!

Thanks for making it to the end of this essay Smile

Have you changed your toilet roll? My DH bought scented stuff accidentally and made me really sore

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. Well, we started using andrex about a month ago because it was on offer lol. Just white normal like. So this week we went back onto tesco own brand what we used before. But I may have used andrex this week as it was left. Hmm. Will just use tesco and see what happens!

It doesn't give me any other grief apart from when I wipe!

I had no symptoms this weekend, so happy. I was away and using a different loo roll! 😲

Thanks x

Hi all,

Still having occasional slight soreness when wiping with loo roll. Patting the loo roll is fine. Its the wiping..

Had another look and all looks totally normal down there. No redness, swelling etc.

If this was something other than loo roll irritation I would be irritated at other times I take it?

Anyone had something similar?
