Experiences of fibroids

Ok, trying to distract myself given two urgent referrals haven't materialised into anything.

What were your symptoms do fibroids? Did anyone bleed for heavily months?

I've had three fibroids removed over the years. Not huge but enough to give me awfully heavy bleeding and clots.

Last one was removed after nearly a year of heavy bleeding. Under local anaesthetic in day clinic. My consultant also gave me an endometrial ablation seeing as I was not having anymore children. This helps stop anymore growing as it removes your womb lining...and stopped my periods 😁 great! Best of luck x
