What do you do about your PCOS when you've finished having children?

Hey ladies,
I've just found out I'm pregnant with my second baby. Feeling so excited and lucky - but it got me wondering...what do PCOS women do to help their symptoms post kids? Everything I have done so far including taking metformin, inositol etc...has been geared towards getting me pregnant.
Should I just be taking metformin forever?!
Interested to hear from anyone who has gone through that transition. Thank you!

I have pcos and took Metformin for 4 years. Once I decided I did not want to be pregnant again , I stopped taking Metformin. My GP was okay with it. I started taking magnesium supplements instead. Magnesium helps with insulin sensitivity. My periods have been regular and over the years I have had few cyst that did grow but most got absorbed back in the body except for one. I had surgery for that one.
Pros of taking magnesium is it regularise periods, sugar, keeps body relaxed, less fatigue and no constipation.
Cons : it does not help with weight control like Metformin so you have to exercise and eat right. It does not help to stop new cyst forming while Metformin study claims that it does.

Don't know if GP will agree with magnesium supplements as NHS stance is usually more diet directed. I took magnesium supplements after reading various books on pcos and all pointed towards magnesium. There is a lot of research you can find on internet too. Magnesium worked for me and my cousin and some of my friends too.
