Lumps in breasts after finishing breastfeeding?

Hi, I finished feeding my son two weeks ago and in the bath tonight I realised that my left breast was v sore and lumpy. Is this usual after finishing feeding?

If it makes any difference I fed him for 18mths, and the same for my eldest but I don't remember this from last time?

Possibly but to be on the safe side, I’d see your GP even if just for your peace of mind.

I did have them for about a month and as I was on the verge of getting them checked out they disappeared, I'd keep checking them but if they are still there in a couple of weeks definitely get them checked

Thanks both, I'll try expressing a little with hot flannels and will book in with GP. Thank you x

It maybe mastitis, do they feel hot to touch at all? However I had this when I stopped feeding, I think it’s because everything is settling down, I went to the GP and got checked to be on the safe side.
