Hi I had a baby 11 months ago. I went to see a consultant last week and have a rectum prolapse. I been told to go back in 3 months but do pelvic floor exercises 3 times a day.
Wondered if anyone had any advice, websites to read, videos to watch to help. Not just pelvic floor anything else that helps it get stronger.
I love exercise but high impact seems to feel uncomfortable. I also have had ibs symptoms for a number of years so constipation makes it more uncomfortable.
Any advice on anything I can do to improve it so I don’t have surgery.

Ask for a referral to a physiotherapist who specialises in pelvic floor exercises. They will teach you how to do the exercises correctly and monitor their effectiveness.
