Unusual period after stopping mini pill

I stopped taking the mini pill a couple of weeks ago (cerelle, if that's relevant), I'd only been taking it three weeks and it made me pretty much suicidal so I stopped.
A week ago I got what I assume is my period and it's still going, as heavy as the first day, a week later. For me this is very unusual, I normally have a couple of quite heavy days, then it peters out and stops around day 5.
Is this due to the mini pill? How long would it need to go on for for me to worry?

Probably yes. Give it a few months and your period will become more regular x

I had a 16 day bleed when I came off the pill. Doctor said it was my body readjusting and could take months to get out my system. Luckily it was only that one period.
