I had my second marina coil fitted over a yr ago. The past 8wks I’ve bleed nearly every day. Done 2 pregnancy test had 2scans as my gp thought my coil may have moved. Had my kidneys checked for stones so far all come back clear. They found a 27mm cyst on my ovary but my gp said I shouldn’t be getting as much pain as I am. The pain is in my left ovary & my lower back closet thing I can describe is like labour pain. I’ve been on tranexamic acid for 3wkd while waiting for gyno appointment. My gp told me to stop taking them & just take if I start bleeding again. I’ve stopped twice & both times I’ve started bleeding again within 48hrs. I’m at the point where I want the coil out but not sure if this will help. My gyno appointment is in 3months. Anyone else had anything similar?
