If I bleed on Cerazette, will Mirena help?

I have been given a provisional diagnosis of endometriosis/adenomyosis by a consultant, and about 10 months ago she prescribed me Cerazette. It has done a good job of stopping the pain, but I'm bleeding more days than not during the month (mostly v light to be fair) and I've had enough really.

My GP has suggested I try the Mirena which I'm sceptical of, particularly if I'll struggle to get them to remove it during a pandemic.

Does anyone have any experience of having bleeding on Cerazette and not Mirena? Or negative stories allowed too!

Hello, I am interested too. I have been taking cerezette for heavy periods for 6 months now and although I no longer get monster floods I am bleeding about 75% of the time. I have been offered a merina and then an ablation if the merina doesnt work or if I refuse the merina. I have heard that it can take a few months to settle down with merina and that some bleed loads with it too. I think I will probably go straight for the ablation as I'm so sick of bleeding. I need a break!!!!
