Lump in breast

Need a handhold I think, I found a lump in my breast just before lockdown. I'm young (23) so I wasn't overly concerned. Decided this time last week I should maybe get it checked out. They have booked me in for an appointment in September.
Fairly soon. I am just so anxious. So I felt my boob again, I know it's soooo unlikely to be cancer. I really do know that:

But this evening I've not found 2 more lumps in the same breast.

I know I shouldn't be worried but I am a tad. Can anyone talk some sense into me!!

Well done for calling the GP you've done the right thing. As you say it's highly likely to be nothing, I can't quite remember the stats they told me at the breast clinic of how many lumps are benign but it was high.

I would maybe call your GP back as you should be seen within 2 weeks, did you tell the receptionist why you need to see the doctor? If so they shouldn't really wait till September to see you.
