Chlamydia treatment not worked?!

So I got told I had chlamydia after experiencing water infection type symptoms for a few weeks. They gave me antibiotics for 3 days which have me horrible diarrhoea and has now made me worried that they haven’t worked. This was 2 weeks ago and for the past week I have been getting unusual brown discharge with clots and I had sex last night (protected) which was very painful. Is is possible the treatment hasn’t worked and the symptoms are now getting worse? They told me at the clinic I can’t get retested for another 3 weeks due to the results could still show up as positive even if they were negative so I’m reluctant to take more antibiotics if I don’t need them when they made me feel so ill. It’s almost impossible to get any kind of appointment at the moment too so What should I do?
Thanks!

Ring the Dr and tell the Dr they gave you diahroea

Did they test you initially? Was it definitely "just" chlamydia? Had you had sex recently with anyone else and might now have something else?
Are you up to date with your smear? The antibiotics should still have worked with the diarrhoea but I guess it is more whether they worked anyway. I think if you have ongoing symptoms you need to be retested. Did they mean 3 weeks from the original or from now?!

Yes they tested me initially and that was all the results came back with! I haven’t had sex with anyone else so it can’t be anything other than that I assume. No they said 5 weeks I need to wait to be retested but as it’s already been 2 that’s why I need to wait another 3

It did say on the medication and online that this is a very common side effect of the medication
