Should I get this checked out?

About 3 weeks ago, a small oval of red, dry flaky skin appeared on my cheek. It was after a few days of intense sunny weather so I’m a bit worried it could be the start of skin cancer.

Should I get it checked out or am I being too much of a worrier? I’m currently pg so could be something to do with hormones?

Is it raised a little bit? I have the same thing on my leg, it's been there for quite a few months. My husband thinks I should get it checked out.
