Sex two days after period then bleeding

Asking for a friend as it's never happened to me. Her period ended on Saturday. She had sex last night (Monday) and had some spotting. Woke up this morning and had blood on her underwear (about a teaspoon full) and is now still spotting. Has this happened to anyone else?

Probably the sex making her bleed.

Sometimes especially if there’s still blood cells in the uterus sex can encourage the excess blood.

If it happens lots she should maybe go see her doctor but I know after my period and I have sex sometimes I get a little blood.
