Menopause - Has anyone's periods just stopped?!!

Regular as clockwork - every 28 days for the last 40 years - and then in May - nothing!! Not a spot in May, June and July.

I really thought menopause would creep up and they would be irregular. But no symptoms, flushing or anything.

Will they come back with a vengeance or could that seriously be it!! Kaput with the monthlies?

Me too. Mine stopped dead. One year previously had two vv heavy periods in a row and feared the worst and then went back to normal and then just stopped. Two years later no symptoms, no hot flushes. Was a total breeze.

Yes - had a period in May, another in July and that was it! I had a hot flush once for about 10 seconds, when I was stressed!

Absolutely wonderful to have no more periods, PMT or cyclical breast pain. It was like being 15 again in that department!

Yes, that's exactly what's happened to me - I had really heavy ones then slightly lighter and then zilch! I hardly dare hope after all the horror stories Ive heard ...
