Hi, just posting here as I've done the awful thing of googling and hopefully someone knows what this might be.
About a year ago I noticed bright red spots appearing on one breast, plus there seems to be discharge, I don't see it leaking it's just like when you get milk in after a baby and it seems to have dried, sorry that's a bit gross!
So, I saw a nurse and she advised the spots were age spots and wasn't concerned, I'm 42 btw.
So a year one, the same old breast is itching like mad and I get pain through the nipple and stabbing pains and another nurse has said I need to see a doctor asap. I don't get the symptoms every day.
Any idea what this could be, my mum had breast cancer at this age so I am worried sick now, especially as I first went to the doctors a year ago and that nurse wasn't concerned at all. I'm kicking myself for not getting a second opinion a year ago.

I would consult your GP about this, if only to set your mind at rest.
