For 16 months now I've been on Cerazette (desogestrel) for contraception. My GP told me that my periods could be irregular for up to 6 months after using it so this was fine. Before using it my period was already irregular and about every 31 days and lasted a full week. I thought after all this time that things would have settled down but if anything they're getting worse! My period either doesn't come for a month and a half, or comes for 2 weeks at a time. I had it from June 26th-30th and then got it again a week later on July 7th and still have it now, 8 days later. Has this happened to anyone else? I've had the implant too but I bled all the time, one time it was 32 days in a row! So getting that isn't an alternative. It's exhausting not having a cycle I can keep track of
