Coccyx pain since childbirth

Hello!

Whilst giving birth to my wonderful, precious son in December 2018 I broke my coccyx. I didn't really realise what had happened until a few days afterwards, I could hardly walk and was in agony but I thought it was just due to giving birth and I also had an episiotomy, I couldn't tell what was causing the pain at first.

Anyway, fast forward 18 months and it still flipping hurts sometimes, especially if I spend too long sitting down or cycle (which I love to do).

Has anyone else experienced this and if so has anything helped? I was told it would just heal naturally and gradually get less sore but today it's really bad again (I did cycle to work today).

Same. Dd2 will be two in Oct. Not sure if I actually broke mine, but I had nothing like it with DD1.

I broke mine when I had my baby in 2007. It still hurts if I sit in one position for a long time - it's not usually a problem unless I've gone to a whole day course or something.

It took a good few years for it to settle - I don't usually notice it from day to day. I think as far as I can remember from the reading around when it happened time is the only thing that is likely to help...

Hope you feel better with it soon!
