Period a week late. Negative pregnancy tests

My periods have been 26-28 days since my periods returned after BF DC2 5 years ago. My period is now a week late. I did a test on Monday and one today, both negative. Feel fine, no symptoms of anything bad but also don't have period pains. Is this a cause for a GP or is it just 'one of those things?'. Am 40 so probably not menopause.

I've had a few blips like this since turning 40. On one occasion it just didn't turn up until day 50 with no reason. That time I did speak to the doctor when it was 10 days late but she wasn't overly concerned. DH has had a vasectomy since then so when happens now I just chalk it up to peri-menopause.

This happened to me last month but we were TTC so it was very stressful. AF just turned up on day 43 and everything was normal after that. Just one of those things I think!

My two eBay friends have both had this, this month. 39 and 40. Both tested both negative. One had their period 3 weeks late, the others yet to materialise.

It's such a weird and stressful time, I wonder if it's taking its toll on our cycles, because both of my friends would say they can see its a stressful time, but they don't feel massively stressed iyswim?

They're not ebay friends. They are my best friends. Why do I click post and proof read afterward? Why?

Love the idea of purchasing friends from Ebay! It arrived today so chalking it up to being one of those things.

I was wondering what an eBay friend is! I think its the lock down effect. My cycle is less predictable lately. (And so is life!)
