Hi all I'm very new here so please bare with me. I'm just after a hand hold really and to hear from anyone experiencing similar. A cpl of wks ago getting changed I noticed left breast had small indent in underside esp so when I take a deep breath in or raise my arm. Anyway went into immediate panic (health anxiety is the worst) made an appointment with gp who said they couldn't feel anything of concern and thinks is related to scar tissue from biopsy I had last yr which turned out to be a fibroadenoma. Anyway sorry for the ramble in my first post fast forward almost 2 weeks I got an appointment at breast clinic today for early next wk. Dont know what I hoped from this post just so nice to get it off my chest (no pun) and also say hi in meantime to u all

Hi, I am waiting for biopsy results right now, I had other symptoms and the mamo showed a lesion. So I have been classified as indeterminate until the biopsy comes back. I have had a needle biopsy when I was in my twenties, but I am late forties now. Yes, its very scary and the waiting is hard, especially with covid-19. But the good news is that you have an appointment, and that things can start to be resolved. I hope you are ok,.

Hi, i understand how you feel. I experience health anxiety too. I'm late on my period and feel all lumpy above my breasts. Worried myself all weekend about it. Trying to wait until after period arrives to see if it settles down before going to the docs. Also trying to stop prodding it as maybe that's making it worse.

Thanks ladies trying go keep myself occupied and distracted but keep having moments of sheer panic hit me a few times a day. @Cuddling57 I'm also trying not to prod and touch as I'm certain if I carry on all they will find is bruising and soreness caused by me 🤣🤣😂😂🙈🙈🙈

Good luck with it- the staff at the breast clinic will be very kind and gentle with you, and it's great that you got the appointment to get really specialist advice.

@BitOfFun Thankyou I'm just an anxious person where my health is concerned altho having a life long disability has never really bothered me general health stuff drives me insane and I automatically with the help of Dr Google diagnose myself with the most deadly thing going never anything treatable and simple

Just an update as promised. I went to breast clinic appointment today had the works examination mammogram and ultrasound was so nervous and told myself I had the absolute worst outcome and when all came to all dr told me I had blocked ducts altho I've never breast fed it can apparently happen and the indentation they thing is scarring from previous biopsy coupled with weight loss (I wish ). So treated myself and DP to a takeaway after all he waited over an hr and half in waiting area for me and can now hopefully sleep tonight. Thankyou all for your kind words and support past few days it has meant a lot
