Embarrassing problem

I had surgery last week for an ectopic pregnancy and I haven't yet started to bleed. For the past two days I feel like I smell down there. It's not very strong, but I'm usually a very very clean person and never have any body odour, and I just feel smelly even though I've been showering.
The surgical wounds look fine, not red or anything.

I'm not really sure what to do and whether it is normal. Maybe it will go once I start bleeding?

It could be nothing. Maybe just hormonal changes following surgery. However a smell usually indicates infection and since you've recently had surgery I think it would be safest to get checked out. Ring your GP and see what they say as a first point of contact. They might redirect you back to the hospital. Hope you're ok Thanks

Thank you @Tiny37373
I don't have my follow up for 6 weeks but will get onto my Gp if it persists next week x

Definitely sounds like an infection. Call the dr first thing on Monday for antibiotics.

Sorry for your loss OP Flowers. Have you checked your temperature? Either way, I'd definitely speak to your GP or the gynae/surgical team that operated.
