Were you offered a postpartum gynaecological check-up?

Hi Mums,

I had a forceps delivery and in hindsight I find it strange that I was never offered a postpartum gyncological check. I'm wondering whether postpartum gynaecological check-ups are routinely offered to NHS patients and I was just unlucky? If you had a vaginal birth (with or without complications) were you offered a check-up?

I had my twins by forceps/ventouse but had a check up as I had a 3b tear. Saying that I had got lost in the system so chased it up and didn’t have it until 6months pp! I had had physio by then too so it was a good indicator of how I had recovered.
