Embarrassing- bed wetting

TheDramaLlama123 · 28/06/2020 00:37

I’m in my 40’s and about a month ago I started walking up in a wet bed. Has happened about 5 times since.
Odd thing is that the bed clothes and wet items don’t t smell of wee. But a huge amount of water. I never even wet the bed as a child.
For background- have 3dcs - youngest 11. Not particularly week bladder at any other time.

Is this just a part of getting older and that I need to get used too?

Are you sure you're not having night sweats?

TheDramaLlama123 · 28/06/2020 00:48

No, definitely down below and a puddle

Are you diabetic?
Could you have a UTI or stones?

N0tfinished · 28/06/2020 00:51

Not at all usual. Please see your doctor. I've been through (going through) menopausal night sweats, mine would be all over, damp pjs, sheets etc. what you're describing sounds unusual.

Definitely important to see the doctor. I’d too worry a bit about diabetes.

Seems odd

Bluebooby · 28/06/2020 02:29

I am younger than you but get night sweats that can feel like I've wet the bed, but it's all over not just down below. I don't think it's a normal part of growing older, especially if it seems to be just water.

Jaguarana · 28/06/2020 02:31

Hmm. I'd've seen my GP after the first time this happened, tbh. It's not normal at all.
