Hi advice would be wonderful. I’ve been feeling rubbish the last few weeks. Shooting pains in my lower stomach, lower back pain, feeling so tired. Rang Doctors and was told to drop urine sample in but prescribed antibiotics anyway as she was sure it was an infection. Took a weeks antibiotics and felt a little better for a day after finishing course, now I’m back to square one again. I rang up again and she said my sample was clear, I put my sample in a water bottle as I didn’t have a sample pot, could this have altered the result? I suffer from health anxiety so I’ve had all sorts going through my mind. Any advice would be so helpful

When I had a kidney infection as an adult (loads of issues as a kid that I don't remember) it had started with very obvious UTI symptoms - pain / burning / urgency with urinating. After a day or 2 I suddenly had the worst pain I'd ever experienced in my lower back while out and about. Had to get home and go to bed.
By the time I woke up the following day it was so bad I cried like a baby down the phone to my dad to come get me to the GP.

I was laid up for about 5 days while the antibiotics kicked in with pain, vomiting, fever. I'm not sure what's up but it doesn't sound like kidney infection (from my limited experience).
