Periods stopped -might this be the menopause starting?

My periods are usually quite heavy and fairly short cycle (24 days generally) but the last period I had was lighter and shorter than normal, at the end of April, and I havent had one since then.
I've had no cramps, tender breasts etc or any symptoms where I feel I am about to start my period. Pregnancy test was negative.
I'm early 40s. Might this be the start of the menopause... ??

Could be but probably too early. Peri-menopause can last up to 10 years! I think a chat with the GP would be reasonable thing to do. Imo menopause is hugely glossed over unless you actively seek help.

There's a thread running on here about many womens cycles having changed since Covid 19 came along. Many women have missed periods or had extra long cycles or different blood flow to usual.

It's supposed to be down to stress...

I'd suggest a chat to your GP as you are on the young side for menopause.

My bet is peri-menopause.

Hi! It could be both, but better get it checked. Wink
