The implant causing loss of sex drive?

So for a couple years now I’ve had no interest in sex. Don’t want it, don’t need it. I feel I could go the rest of my life without sex. I’ve just realised, does anyone think I could be feeling like this due to the hormones from my implant? Does this cause loss of libido?

Any kind of hormonal contraception does that to me.
I didn't realise until I had it removed.

So it did come back once you stopped the contraception then?

It had that effect on me. It came back after I had it removed.

I feel this way at the moment about the pill. But I was on it before about 3 years ago and had a very high sex drive. I enjoy it when I'm actually in it but the desire to have it has gone.

Mine runs out in 2 months. Maybe I won’t get another one to see if it is that causing it

I had this issue with the implant.

I have this with the implant. Changed to copper coil and it came back.

@Lolo1845 if you don’t mind me asking, are your periods heavier with copper coil? It is what I think I’d prefer to have next but I currently don’t get periods at all, which I prefer

For the first few months yes. But then they settled down and ever since they have been fine.. I have it in about 3 years so far.
