So I'll start from scratch, after being single a long time i decided to give up taking the pill, id been on it for 10 years. I was taking cerazette/cerelle as id tried others and this was the only one that seemed to agree with me, during that time my periods stopped all together. So when i came off it, 2 weeks later i had a period. Then they were irregular for a couple of months with some really heavy ones but then became regular where i knew i was getting one. But now things have changed, my last period was 25th December 2019, which lasted for 4 days, it was fairly light. Theres been hardly any signs of it coming back, odd cramps or boobs hurt but still no period. The last time i had sex was the beginning of December before the period, which i was sensible and used protection and also took a pregnancy test and it came back negative and no signs of pregnancy or symptoms. Should i be getting a doctor's appointment to rule out medical conditions?

It really depends on your age and how irregular your cycle was before you stopped. If your cycle length was increasing and periods were getting lighter then may be you are somewhat near menopause. How many pregnancy test have you done? If just one then may be do another but of course if you were 6 months pregnant then it would have started showing.
But you should definitely consult your GP because if there is a medical issue that stopped your period and uterine lining is growing and not shedding then it needs to be investigated.

Im 32, i did 3 tests just to make sure and all came back negative. In the first few months after i stopped taking the pill they were irregular, and then i knew they became regular and i was having one every month so i thought my body must have sorted its self out, then like i say the last one i had was christmas week. 3 negative tests and no signs of pregnancy, not gained any weight, sickness, no visible signs etc

I wasnt sure if it was still my body being messed up from stopping taking the pill but surely not after 15 months, so i think ill make an appointment with my gp
