Cervical polyp

Hi,
I just seem to have one gynae woe after another!
A few years ago I started to get bleeding between periodS -GP very disinterested in it and fobbed me off lots of times. Eventually got an ultrasound and they found a huge dermoid cyst on my ovary which was removed. All fine but bleeding resumed - more fobbing off from GP. Had my smear just before lockdown and got recalled for abnormal cells. Went to the colposcopy yesterday and they found a cervical polyp which they removed and said that was causing the bleeding. There was no mention of it being tested. I was also investigated and had a biopsy for the abnormal cells on my cervix but she thinks it’s not concerning.
I felt so relieved to finally have an answer to my bleeding but after a little google ( I know I shouldn’t!!!), I’m now really concerned that the polyp could be cancerous, especially in light of my abnormal cervical cells.
Any experience with this? I’m driving myself crazy with worry about it all Hmm
