Bleeding Haemorrhoids

I've had external haemorrhoids (is that even the right name?!) since I was pregnant with my twins four years ago. They don't generally cause me any bother so I have just ignored them.

However, last night they started bleeding, I noticed when wiping (after urinating, not emptying my bowels) and this morning they are bleeding again.

Will this resolves itself? I really don't want to have to go to/ bother my GP but equally I won't leave it if it needs dealing with.

Thanks

Yes they resolve by themselves if you are not constipated for the next few days. Are you sure it is haemorrhoids though? If you had a BM in the morning they bleed in the morning , you might wipe some blood by afternoon but by night it should not bleed. It could be a small tear.
If they are troubling you then you don't have to go to a GP , just get anusol or anusol HC from your pharmacy. Apply and they will resolve in a couple days.
